Start at Killarney town centre, near the Killarney National Park entrance. Head southwest on Main Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Muckross Road. Continue along Muckross Road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass the Killarney Outlet Centre on your left. Keep walking straight, and you will reach the entrance to the Killarney National Park. Once inside the park, follow the path that leads to the left, towards The Demesne area. Knockreer House is located within this area, with clear signage directing you to the Educational Centre.

From Killarney town centre, head to the bus stop located near the Killarney Cathedral. Take the bus route 40 towards Muckross Park. The bus will take you along Muckross Road, and you will need to get off at the stop labeled 'Knockreer House'. Once you get off the bus, follow the path straight ahead, and you will arrive at the Educational Centre located in The Demesne.
