Take the second exit onto the Muckross Road (N71). After about 700 meters, keep left to stay on N71, which leads toward Muckross House. Walk for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to Killarney National Park. From here, continue straight along the path through the park, enjoying the scenic views. Follow the signs directing you towards Ballycasheen. After about 2 km, you will arrive at Pike Wood located in Ballycasheen.

    From Killarney town center, take Bus Eireann route 40 towards Tralee. Get off at the Ballycasheen stop. Once you alight the bus, head south on Ballycasheen Road. Continue walking straight for about 1 km, and you will arrive at Pike Wood. The walk will take you through the charming surroundings of the area.
