Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from the Killarney town center (for example, near the Killarney Cathedral), head southeast on High Street towards College Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Park Road. Turn right onto Park Road and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Lewis Road. Continue on Lewis Road, and after approximately 1 km, you will see The Shire Bar & Cafe on your left at Michael Collins Place.

Walking

From the Killarney Railway Station, exit the station and turn right onto the main road (Park Road) heading towards the town center. Walk along Park Road until you reach the roundabout, then take the second exit onto Lewis Road. Walk along Lewis Road for about 1 km. The Shire Bar & Cafe will be on your left at Michael Collins Place.

Public Transport (Bus)

If you are near the Killarney Bus Station, you can take a local bus heading towards the Ring of Kerry. Alight at the stop on Lewis Road, which is close to The Shire Bar & Cafe. From the bus stop, walk approximately 200 meters towards the direction of Michael Collins Place, and you will find the bar on your left.
