Walking
From Killarney town center, start at the Killarney National Park entrance on Kenmare Place. Head southwest on Kenmare Place, then turn right onto Main Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with the Ring of Kerry (N71). Cross over to the other side of the road and continue walking along the N71. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see signs for Killarney Riding Stables to your left.
Public Transport
From Killarney town, take a local bus that heads towards Ballydowney. You can catch the bus at the bus stop near the Killarney Cathedral on College Street. Stay on the bus for about 10 minutes until you reach the Ballydowney stop. From there, Killarney Riding Stables is a short 5-minute walk. Exit the bus and head east on the road towards Ballydowney until you see the stables on your right.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle in Killarney, start from the town center and head towards the National Park. Follow the cycle paths that lead you along the N71. Continue cycling for approximately 2 km, and look for signs directing you to Killarney Riding Stables. The route is mostly flat and well-marked, making it enjoyable and safe for cyclists.
