Walking
If you are starting from the center of Kinsale, make your way to The Old Head of Kinsale via the Main Street. Walk north along Main Street until you reach the junction with Pier Road. Turn left onto Pier Road. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Kinsale Marina, which will be on your right. Take a moment to enjoy the view of the marina before continuing your walk. Follow the path along the waterfront, keeping the marina on your right, until you reach a small park area. At this park, take the path that leads you through the green space towards the road. As you exit the park, you will find yourself at the junction with R600. Turn right onto R600 and continue walking. After about 15 minutes, you will see signs for St. Fachtna's Cathedral on your left. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the cathedral.

From the center of Kinsale, head to the nearest bus stop located on Main Street. Board the bus heading towards Rosscarbery. Make sure to confirm with the bus driver that the bus stops at Carbery's Lane. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Carbery's Lane, disembark and walk a short distance to find St. Fachtna's Cathedral, which should be easy to spot as you approach the area.
