Start at the center of Kinsale, specifically at the Kinsale Tourist Office located on the main street (Pier Road). Head south on Pier Road towards the waterfront. After about 200 meters, take a left onto Market Street and continue straight. Follow Market Street until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Cross Main Street and continue onto the narrow path that leads towards Town-Plots. The War of Independence Memory Stone is located at the end of this path, roughly 500 meters from Main Street. It is a historical landmark, so look for the stone monument situated in a small green area.

If starting from Kinsale's Charles Fort, exit the fort grounds and head back towards the town center. As you approach the main road, turn right onto the road leading into Kinsale town. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street, and then take the second right onto Market Street. Continue straight until you reach the path leading to Town-Plots. The War of Independence Memory Stone will be located at the end of this path in a small park area.
