If you are starting from Limerick city center, head south along O'Connell Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Mallow Street. Turn left onto Mallow Street and continue until you reach Sarsfield Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves right onto Ennis Road (N18). After crossing the river, you'll see a pedestrian path on your left. Follow this path along the river until you reach the junction with Park Road. Turn left onto Park Road, and continue straight until you reach Park Canal. The scenic area will be on your right.

Buses such as the 304 or 305 will take you to Park. Alight at the Park stop, and from there, it's a short walk to Park Canal. Head east on Park Road, and you will find the canal area nearby.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in the city center. Start by heading south on O'Connell Street, then take a left onto Mallow Street. Cycle over Sarsfield Bridge, then follow the Ennis Road (N18) until you find the cycle path along the river. This path will lead you to Park Road, where you can turn left and cycle straight to Park Canal, which is located on your right.
