    If you are starting from the city center, head towards O'Connell Street. Walk south along O'Connell Street until you reach the River Shannon. Turn left to walk along the riverfront. Continue walking until you reach the Shannon Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road as it curves to the right onto the Dock Road. Keep walking straight, and you will find yourself in the area of Irishtown. Look for Cathedral Place on your left. St John's Cathedral is located at Cathedral Place, Irishtown, V94 H521.
