After approximately 7 kilometers, turn right onto the R480 at the sign for The Burren National Park. Continue on the R480 for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to the Parknabinnia Wedge Tomb. Look for an unmarked road; the tomb is located a short walk from this road. There is no designated parking area, so park carefully along the road without obstructing traffic. The tomb will be visible as you approach.

If you are using public transport, take a bus from Galway to Ballyvaughan. Bus Eireann operates services to and from Ballyvaughan. Once you arrive in Ballyvaughan, your best option is to arrange for a local taxi, as public transport does not directly reach the Parknabinnia Wedge Tomb. Taxis can be found near the bus stop or you can call one in advance. The taxi ride to the wedge tomb will take approximately 10 minutes and should cost around €15-€20. Once you arrive at the unmarked road, it is a short walk to the tomb.
