Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Tralee town center, head west on Church Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N86 road. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach a set of traffic lights. Cross the road at the lights to stay on the N86, following the signs for 'Ballyvelly'. After crossing, continue along the path beside the road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a small sign directing you to the Tralee Canal Walk, just off to your left. Turn left onto Cois Laoi and follow the path to reach the entrance at 55 Cois Laoi.

Public Transport
For those starting from Tralee Railway Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is called Edward Street. Take a right onto Edward Street and walk straight. After about 600 meters, you will reach a bus stop near the roundabout. Catch a bus heading towards Ballyvelly. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Ballyvelly stop. Once you get off, walk towards the canal path entrance, which is a short walk away at 55 Cois Laoi.
