Getting there

Bus

From Wexford town, head to the Bus Eireann station located on the Quay. Take Bus Eireann route 370 towards Gorey. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes. Request to get off at the stop for 'Ballyhogue'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 30 minutes. Head south on the R733 road, then turn left on to the L4040. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Carrigfoyle Quarry.

Bicycle

If you are comfortable cycling, you can rent a bike in Wexford town. Start by cycling south on the R733 road. Continue for about 6 kilometers until you reach the L4040. Turn left onto the L4040 and follow it for another 2 kilometers to arrive at Carrigfoyle Quarry. The route is mostly flat and offers scenic views of the countryside.

Walking

For those who enjoy a long walk, start from the center of Wexford town. Head south towards the R733 road and follow it for approximately 6 kilometers. Once you reach the L4040, turn left and continue for another 2 kilometers. Please wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a rural walk, as some areas may have limited footpaths.
