If you are in Wexford town center, start at the Wexford Opera House. Head south on Mallow Street towards the Quay. Continue straight until you reach the River Slaney. Turn right onto the quay path and follow the river. After approximately 15 minutes of walking, you will see the ferry terminal. Cross the bridge at the terminal and continue straight. After another 10 minutes, you will reach Ferrybank South. Ballast Bank is located along the riverbank in this area.

From Wexford town, take bus number 370 towards Rosslare Europort from the main bus stop located near the Opera House. The bus operates every hour. Disembark at the Ferrybank stop. From there, walk straight towards the river and follow the riverbank path for about 10 minutes until you reach Ballast Bank.
