    From the main bus station in Douglas, take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Castletown. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Castletown' bus stop. From there, walk along the main road, Castle Street, which leads directly towards Castle Rushen. The castle will be on your right-hand side, approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

    If you're in the central part of Douglas, head towards the seafront and follow the promenade south. Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade, then turn left onto the main road, A5 (also known as the Castletown Road). Follow this road for about 2 miles, and you will see signs for Castle Rushen as you approach Castletown. The walk should take around 40-50 minutes.
