Walking
Start from the central area of Douglas, near the Douglas Harbour. Head south on Victoria Street towards the main road (A2). Continue straight until you reach the junction with the A5 (Lord Street). Turn left onto Lord Street, and then take the first right onto the A5 (Queens Promenade). Follow this road until you reach the bus stop at the end of the promenade, which is a good reference point. From there, you can catch the bus towards Port Erin or Castletown. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for the MWT Close Sartfield Nature Reserve. The stop is nearby and you will see signage for the reserve as you approach.

Cycling
If you're renting a bike, start from the central area of Douglas. Head down to the promenade and cycle along the A5 towards Port Erin. The ride is scenic, and you will enjoy views of the coastline. Continue on the A5 for approximately 5 miles. Look for signage indicating the MWT Close Sartfield Nature Reserve as you approach the area. There are bike racks available at the entrance of the reserve for you to securely park your bike.

Public Transport
From the central bus station in Douglas, catch the bus that goes towards Port Erin. Buses leave frequently from the station. Confirm with the driver or check the bus schedule to ensure you are on the right route. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Be ready to descend at the stop closest to the MWT Close Sartfield Nature Reserve. Once you disembark, follow the signs leading to the reserve which is a short walk away.
