    From the heart of Douglas, head towards the sea front along the promenade. Walk north along the promenade until you reach the end at the Marine Drive junction. At the junction, turn left onto Marine Drive and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Summerhill Road. Turn right onto Summerhill Road and follow it as it begins to incline. Continue walking until you see the entrance to Summerhill Wetlands on your left. The wetlands are a short walk from the road.

  • Bus

    From the Douglas Bus Station, take the bus route that heads towards the Summerhill area. Look for buses that indicate they stop at Summerhill. Once on the bus, sit back and enjoy the ride. After approximately 10-15 minutes, disembark at the Summerhill stop. From there, walk a short distance downhill towards the entrance of Summerhill Wetlands, which will be visible as you approach.

  • Bicycle

    If you’re cycling, start from Douglas town centre and head towards the promenade along the coast. Cycle along the promenade heading north until you reach the Marine Drive junction. Turn left onto Marine Drive and continue straight until you reach Summerhill Road. Turn right onto Summerhill Road. Follow the road uphill until you reach the entrance of Summerhill Wetlands on your left. There are bike racks available for parking your bicycle.
