Walking
From the centre of Onchan, start at the Onchan Village Hall, located on Main Road. Head east along Main Road towards the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout towards the A2 road, which is also called the Douglas to Ramsey road. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach a bus stop on your left. Keep walking along the A2, and look for the sign that indicates Lonan. After another 0.3 miles, you will see a small sign for St Adamnan's Church on your right. The church is set back from the road, so walk up the small path leading to it. The total distance is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20 minutes.

From the Onchan Village Hall, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Main Road. Catch the bus heading towards Ramsey; the bus number you need is 3 or 3A. After about 5 minutes, get off at the Lonan Post Office stop. From there, walk east along the A2 road (Douglas to Ramsey road) for about 0.3 miles.
