Getting There

Walking
Start your journey at the centre of Peel, near the iconic Peel Castle. Head east on Athol Street towards the promenade. Continue straight onto the promenade until you reach the end of the beach. You will see the junction with the A27 road. Cross the road carefully and continue walking along the A27 heading southeast. Stay on the A27 as it curves into the town of Castletown. After about 2 miles, you will enter Castletown. Keep walking straight; you will see Castle Rushen on your left as you approach Castle Street. The entrance is located at Castle Street, IM9 1LD.

From Peel, walk to the bus stop located at the main bus terminal. Take the bus number 1 or 2 towards Castletown. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Castletown, disembark and walk towards Castle Street. Castle Rushen will be directly ahead; you can see the castle from the bus stop.
