Getting There

    From The Sound, begin by heading north on the A5 road. Continue on the A5 for approximately 6 miles until you reach the T-junction with the A2 road. Turn left onto the A2 road towards Laxey. After about 2 miles, follow the signs for Laxey Beach, which will direct you onto local roads leading directly into Laxey. Upon arrival in Laxey, look for parking options near the beach area.

    From The Sound, you can take the bus service 3 or 3A towards Douglas. Board the bus from the nearest bus stop. The journey to Laxey will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the Laxey stop, which is centrally located. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Laxey Beach, following the signs towards the beach area.

  • Walking (from Laxey Bus Stop)

    After alighting at the Laxey bus stop, head south towards the seafront. Walk straight down Laxey Hill Road and follow the path that leads to the beach.
