Walking
If you are starting from the Akko Old City, exit the Old City through the main gate known as the 'Khan al-Umdan'. Once outside, turn left and walk along the main road, 'Ha-Hagana St'. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Havakuk St'. Turn right onto 'Havakuk St' and keep walking until you see the sign for Khan a-Shawarda on your left. The address is Acre, so you are heading in the right direction.
Public Transport
From the Akko Central Bus Station, take bus number 5 towards the city center. Get off at the stop called 'Khan a-Shawarda'. The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes. After disembarking, walk towards the main road and turn left. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to Khan a-Shawarda on your right.
Cycling
If you have rented a bike, start from the Akko Old City and cycle towards 'Ha-Hagana St'. Continue along Ha-Hagana St until you reach the intersection with 'Havakuk St'. Turn right onto 'Havakuk St' and cycle until you see Khan a-Shawarda on your left. It’s a pleasant ride with minimal traffic.
