Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Old City of Akko, head towards the main entrance of the Akko Citadel. Once you reach the entrance, continue straight down the path until you reach the waterfront. From there, turn left and walk along the promenade. After approximately 10 minutes of walking, you will see the signs for Tel Akko. Follow the signs which will lead you directly to the archaeological site. The walk is scenic and provides views of the Mediterranean Sea.

From the Akko Central Bus Station, take bus line 4 towards Haifa. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Tel Akko (it might be referred to as 'Tel Akko Station'). The journey will take around 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, follow the signs pointing towards the archaeological site, which is a short walk away.

If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a local shop in Akko. Start at the Akko Port and ride along the coast towards Tel Akko. The route is mostly flat and takes about 15 minutes.
