Getting There

Walking
From Ein Gedi, start at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance. Head east on the main path leading away from the reserve. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 90. Turn right and walk along the side of the road. After approximately 500 meters, you will see the sign for Qumran National Park on your left. Follow the path leading into the park entrance.

Public Bus
If you'd like to take public transportation, walk to the nearest bus stop in Ein Gedi, which is located on Route 90. Check the bus schedule for the next bus heading north towards Jericho. Get off at the Qumran stop (this is usually announced by the driver). From the bus stop, walk a short distance to the entrance of Qumran National Park, which is clearly marked.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Ein Gedi to Qumran National Park. Start at the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance and bike east on the main path for about 2 kilometers. Once you reach Route 90, turn right and cycle along the road for approximately 500 meters. The entrance to Qumran National Park will be on your left. Please be cautious of traffic while cycling.
