Bus
Start by walking to the nearest bus stop in Holon. Depending on your location, you may need to ask locals for the closest one. Once at the bus stop, look for bus number 7 or 47, which travels to Jerusalem. Get on the bus and enjoy the scenic ride. After approximately 30-40 minutes, get off at the 'Jaffa Gate' stop in Jerusalem. From there, walk towards the Old City. Continue straight until you reach the Western Wall. The Observation Deck is located at HaTamid St 6, just a short walk from the wall.
Train
Head to the Holon train station, which is well-marked. Purchase a ticket to the Jerusalem-Malha station. The train ride will take around 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem-Malha station, take bus number 18 towards the Old City. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Jaffa Gate'. Walk towards the Old City and proceed to the Western Wall. The Observation Deck is located at HaTamid St 6, a short distance from the wall.
Walking
If you're staying close to the center of Holon, you can also take a long walk towards the Jerusalem area. Start by heading north on Jabotinsky Street until you reach the intersection with Ayalon Highway. Cross the highway and continue into Jerusalem. This is a long walk—approximately 1.5 hours—so ensure you're wearing comfortable shoes and have water. Once you reach the Old City, make your way to the Western Wall, and from there, the Observation Deck at HaTamid St 6 is just a short walk away.
