Walking
If you are starting from the Old City, walk towards the Jaffa Gate. Once you exit the Jaffa Gate, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Sultan Suleiman Street. Turn left onto Sultan Suleiman Street and walk until you reach the Damascus Gate. From there, head towards the Lion's Gate, which will lead you into the Muslim Quarter. Follow the signs leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex, which is adjacent to the Dome of the Rock.

Bus
Take Bus 1 or 18 from the Central Bus Station (Tachana Merkazit) in Jerusalem. Make sure to get off at the 'Al-Aqsa Mosque' stop. Once you alight, follow the signs leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex. The Dome of the Rock is located within this compound.

Light Rail
Board the Jerusalem Light Rail at the Central Station (Tachana Merkazit) and travel towards the 'Mount Herzl' direction. Get off at the 'City Hall' station. From there, walk towards the Old City through the Mamilla Mall. Upon reaching Jaffa Gate, follow the instructions for walking to the Dome of the Rock as described above.

While not ideal for tourists who want to walk, you can book a taxi or rideshare service from your location in Jerusalem to the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Al-Aqsa Mosque entrance, and from there, you can walk to the Dome of the Rock.
