If you are starting from the Old City of Jerusalem, make your way to the Western Wall. From the Western Wall, exit through the Dung Gate, which is located just south of the wall. You'll see the Dung Gate as you approach it; it's a prominent entrance leading into the area of the Old City. Once you exit through the Dung Gate, you will be right at the site of the Dung Gate itself, which is a historic landmark.
Public Transport
To reach the Dung Gate using public transport, head to the nearest bus stop and catch a bus heading towards the Old City or the Western Wall. Buses 1, 2, and 3 frequently service this route. Once you arrive at the bus stop near the Western Wall, follow the signs directing you to the Dung Gate. It is a short walk from there, simply walk south from the Western Wall, and you'll find the Dung Gate entrance.
Taxi
If you prefer to take a taxi, simply request the driver to take you to the Dung Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. Most taxi drivers are familiar with this location. Once they drop you off, you will be right at the entrance of the Dung Gate, allowing you to explore this historic site.
