Getting There

Walking
If you are near the Old City of Jerusalem, head towards the Lions' Gate, which is one of the entrances to the Old City. From Lions' Gate, walk straight along the pathway until you reach the junction at the base of the Temple Mount. Continue straight and you will see the Golden Gate (also known as the Gate of Mercy) in front of you. It is located on the eastern wall of the Old City, just opposite the Mount of Olives. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes from Lions' Gate.

From various locations in East Jerusalem, you can take a bus heading to the Old City. Look for bus lines 75 or 77, which frequently service the area.
