Car
If you are driving, begin your journey from the nearest major town, Sulmona. Head south on the SS17 road for approximately 20 km until you reach the exit for the SP8 road towards Scanno. Follow the SP8 for about 16 km, and then turn left onto the SP83. Continue on the SP83 for about 6 km until you reach the entrance to the Riserva Naturale Integrale della Camosciara. There is limited parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a bus from Sulmona to Scanno. The bus service is operated by ARPA (Agenzia Regionale per i Trasporti Pubblici in Abruzzo). Once you arrive in Scanno, you will need to take a local taxi or arrange for a shuttle to the Riserva Naturale Integrale della Camosciara, which is approximately 10 km from the town center. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary. Taxi fares can range from €15 to €25 depending on the time of day.
