Getting There

Bus
From Amalfi, head to the Amalfi Coast bus station located near the main square, Piazza Flavio Gioia. Look for the SITA bus service towards Paestum. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as buses run less frequently during the off-season. The journey will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Paestum bus stop, exit the bus and walk approximately 15 minutes to the Parco Archeologico di Paestum by heading southeast on Via Magna Graecia.

While you cannot take a train directly from Amalfi, you can take a bus to Salerno. At the Amalfi bus station, take the SITA bus towards Salerno. Upon arrival at the Salerno bus terminal, follow the signs to the train station (Stazione di Salerno). Purchase a ticket for the train to Paestum (Treno Regionale). The train journey will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Paestum station, you will need to walk about 20 minutes to the Parco Archeologico by heading north on Via Magna Graecia.
