If you are starting from the Arezzo Train Station, exit the station and head towards Viale Giovanni Amendola. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the main road, Via Roma. Turn left onto Via Roma and continue walking until you reach the large Piazza della Libertà. From there, continue straight onto Corso Italia, which leads you into the historic center of Arezzo. Follow Corso Italia until you see the beautiful Piazza Grande on your right. Once you reach Piazza Grande, you can enjoy the view of the surrounding architecture. From Piazza Grande, take Via di Porta Crucifera, which leads directly to Piazza di Porta Crucifera. The square is a few minutes' walk from here.

From the Arezzo Train Station, you can take a local bus to the city center. Look for the bus stop outside the station and check the schedules for buses that head towards 'Centro'. Buses typically run every 15-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Piazza San Francesco' stop. Once you get off, walk straight towards Via di San Francesco, then turn right onto Via di Porta Crucifera. Continue walking for a few minutes, and you will arrive at Piazza di Porta Crucifera.

If you are already at Piazza Grande, start at the center of the square and face the buildings. Exit the square from the side where the Church of Santa Maria della Pieve is located. From there, take Via di Porta Crucifera, which will lead you directly to Piazza di Porta Crucifera. It’s a short and pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the beautiful streets of Arezzo.
