If you're starting from Bari Centrale train station, exit the station and head southeast on Via Capruzzi. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Cavour. Turn right onto Corso Cavour, and follow it until you reach Piazza Garibaldi. From Piazza Garibaldi, take Via Vittorio Veneto and follow it southeast until you reach the waterfront. Continue along the waterfront promenade (Lungomare) until you reach the end, then turn left onto Via Nazario Sauro. After a short walk, turn right onto Via G. Amendola, and then take the first left onto Via M. D’Azeglio. Follow this street until it merges with Via S. Francesco d'Assisi, which will lead you directly to Chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi.
