Walking
If you are starting from the central area of Bari, head towards the main street, Corso Cavour. Walk along Corso Cavour until you reach the intersection with Via Sparano. Turn left onto Via Sparano and continue until you reach Piazza Umberto I. Here, you will see the large arch at the end of the square. Walk through the arch and continue straight to Via Alessandro Manzoni. At the end of this street, turn right onto Str. Sagges. The Museo Civico will be on your left at Str. Sagges, 13.

From Bari Centrale train station, exit onto Via Capruzzi. Look for the bus stops and take bus number 16 or 18 towards 'Piazza Umberto I'. Once you arrive at Piazza Umberto I, follow the walking directions mentioned above: walk through the arch at the end of the square, continue straight to Via Alessandro Manzoni, turn right onto Str. Sagges, and the museum will be on your left.
