Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Capri Marina (Marina Grande), exit the marina and head up the stairs towards the main town. Follow the signs for Capri town center. Continue walking until you reach the main square, known as Piazzetta, which is approximately a 20-30 minute walk uphill. Once you reach the square, look for Piazzetta Cesare Battisti, which is located nearby.

    From Marina Grande, take the funicular railway up to the main town of Capri. The funicular station is located just to the left as you exit the marina. The ride takes about 5-8 minutes. Once you arrive at the top, exit the funicular and walk straight ahead into the main square, known as Piazzetta. Piazzetta Cesare Battisti is a short walk from there, to the left of the square.

    If you are near Anacapri, you can take one of the local buses heading toward Capri town. Look for the bus stop marked 'Capri' and board the bus. The bus ride takes about 15-20 minutes.
