Public Transport - Bus
From Catania, head to the central bus station located at Piazza Giovanni Verga. Look for the AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti) bus service heading towards Taormina. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Upon arrival at Taormina bus station, exit the bus and follow the signs towards the town center. You will find Badia Vecchia located at Via Circonvallazione, 30. It’s about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus station. Head left onto Via Pirandello, then continue straight until you reach Via Circonvallazione.
Walking - From Taormina Center
If you're already in Taormina, start at Piazza IX Aprile, a famous viewpoint in the center of the town. From there, head down the steps towards Corso Umberto I. Continue walking along Corso Umberto I until you reach Porta Messina. From Porta Messina, turn left onto Via Circonvallazione. Badia Vecchia is located at number 30 on this street, about a 10-minute walk from the center.

If you prefer not to walk or use public transport, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Catania directly to Badia Vecchia in Taormina. Simply ask the driver for 'Badia Vecchia, Via Circonvallazione, 30'. The drive will take about 1 hour, depending on traffic.
