Walking
If you are starting from the Catania Central Train Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Etnea). Walk straight along Via Etnea for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue on until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where you will see the magnificent Cathedral of Sant'Agata. Porta Uzeda is located on the eastern side of the Piazza del Duomo, right next to the cathedral.
Bus
From the Catania Central Train Station, you can take the AMT bus line 457 towards 'Piazza Duomo'. Board the bus at the station and stay on for about 10-15 minutes. The bus will drop you off at Piazza Duomo. Once you get off, walk towards the Cathedral of Sant'Agata, and you will find Porta Uzeda adjacent to the cathedral.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi or use a rideshare service. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'Piazza del Duomo'. The journey from the train station should take around 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Piazza del Duomo, Porta Uzeda will be right next to the cathedral.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, head towards Via Etnea from your starting point. Cycle straight along Via Etnea for about 1.5 kilometers. After reaching Piazza del Duomo, find a safe place to park your bicycle. Porta Uzeda is located at the eastern side of the square, next to the Cathedral of Sant'Agata.
