From Monterosso al Mare train station, exit the station and head towards the beach. Walk along the promenade towards the right (north) until you reach the main plaza (Piazza Garibaldi). From the plaza, take the road to the left (Via Roma) heading inland. Continue straight until you reach Salita dei Cappuccini, where you will see signs directing you to the Convent of the Capuchin Friars. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes uphill, so wear comfortable shoes.

If you're in Vernazza, take the train to Monterosso al Mare (the journey takes about 3-5 minutes). Once you arrive at Monterosso, exit the train station and follow the same directions as above: head towards the beach, walk along the promenade to Piazza Garibaldi, then take Via Roma to Salita dei Cappuccini.
