Getting There

Car
From the center of Cortina d'Ampezzo, head east on Via Marconi towards the SS51 road. Turn right onto the SS51 and follow it for about 18 kilometers. You will pass through beautiful mountain scenery. Look for signs indicating 'Selva di Cadore' and 'Lago delle Baste.' After approximately 18 kilometers, turn left at the sign for Lago delle Baste. Continue on this road until you reach the parking area near the lake. Please note that parking might incur a small fee.
