If you are starting from the main train station, Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe, exit the station and head towards Via Balbi. From there, continue walking straight until you reach Via Garibaldi. Turn left on Via Garibaldi and continue straight until you arrive at Piazza della Meridiana. From Piazza della Meridiana, take Via di San Francesco da Paola, which will lead you up a hill. Follow this road, and it will eventually take you to Via San Barnaba. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di S. Barnaba, where the Convento di San Barnaba is located. The total walking distance is approximately 2.5 km and should take about 30 minutes.

Begin your journey at the nearest metro station, De Ferrari. From De Ferrari, take the metro towards Brin. After one stop, get off at the next station, which is San Giorgio. Transfer to bus line 18 or 33. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop at Piazza di S. Barnaba. The Convento di San Barnaba will be directly in front of you as you exit the bus. The total travel time, including waiting for buses, is about 35-40 minutes.
