Public Transport (Train and Bus)
Start your journey from Genoa's main train station, Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe. From there, take a train towards Santa Margherita Ligure. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Santa Margherita Ligure train station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located nearby. Take bus number 82 towards Paraggi. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the Paraggi stop, which is the closest stop to Punta Castello. From there, it’s just a short walk (approximately 5-10 minutes) along the coastline to reach Punta Castello.

If you are starting from the center of Genoa, you can take a leisurely walk to Punta Castello. Begin at Piazza De Ferrari, the city's main square. Head towards Via XX Settembre and continue straight until you reach the waterfront at Porto Antico. From there, you can follow the coastal path to Santa Margherita Ligure. The walk will take you approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Santa Margherita, you can either continue walking along the coast to Punta Castello or take the aforementioned bus from the train station.
