From Genoa, head to the main train station, Stazione di Genova Piazza Principe. Purchase a ticket to Bogliasco, which is approximately a 20-minute train ride. Trains to Bogliasco run regularly. Once you arrive at Bogliasco station, exit the station and walk towards Via Cristoforo Colombo. The beach, Spiaggia libera, is just a short 10-minute walk from the station. Head south on Via Cristoforo Colombo, and you will find the beach area along the coastline.

From the city center, take Bus 15 from the stop 'De Ferrari' or 'Brignole', heading towards 'Bogliasco'. The bus ride will take around 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop 'Bogliasco', which is near the beach area. After getting off the bus, walk a few minutes towards the coast, and you'll find Spiaggia libera along Via Cristoforo Colombo.

If you are near the waterfront in Genoa, start at the Porto Antico area and walk east along the promenade. This scenic walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours and includes beautiful views of the sea and surrounding areas. Continue along the coast until you reach Bogliasco.
