If you are in the city center of Lucca, start by heading towards the iconic city walls. Walk towards the nearest gate, such as Porta San Pietro or Porta Elisa. Once you are at the walls, head towards the eastern side of the city. You will see Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Walk along Via Fillungo until you reach Piazza del Giglio on your left. The Teatro del Giglio is located at numbers 13/15 in this square.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from the city center and ride towards the city walls. Once you reach the walls, cycle along the top of the walls for a scenic view. After enjoying the ride, exit at the nearest gate and head towards the historic center. Follow the signs to Via Fillungo, and then turn left onto Piazza del Giglio. The Teatro del Giglio will be on your left at 13/15.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you are coming from another part of Lucca, look for a local bus that stops at the city center. Buses such as Line 1 and Line 2 frequently travel to the center. Disembark at the main bus station, which is near Piazza San Francesco. From there, walk towards Via Fillungo, which is a short 10-minute walk away. Continue walking until you reach Piazza del Giglio, where you will find Teatro del Giglio at 13/15.
