Walking
Via Fillungo is located within Lucca's historic walls and is primarily a pedestrian zone. From Piazza Verdi, where the tourist information center and bus station are located, walk east through Porta Sant'Anna. Continue straight ahead; Via Fillungo will be on your right in about 5 minutes. No costs are involved.
Public Transport
If arriving by train, exit the Lucca train station and walk straight ahead through the Piazza Ricasoli towards the walls. Enter the city through Porta San Pietro. From there, follow the signs towards the city center; Via Fillungo is approximately a 15-minute walk. Bus lines connect the train station to Piazza Verdi, near Via Fillungo. A single bus ticket costs around €1.50.
Taxi
Taxis are available at the Lucca train station and in Piazza Napoleone. A taxi ride from the train station to Via Fillungo will cost approximately €9 - €15, depending on traffic and the exact location on Via Fillungo. There may be additional charges for luggage.
