If you are starting from the Lucca Train Station (Stazione di Lucca), exit the station and head southwest on Via Giuseppe Mazzini. After about 700 meters, turn left onto Via San Paolino. Continue walking straight until you reach the city walls. Enter the walls via Porta San Pietro. Once inside, walk straight until you reach Piazza San Francesco. From there, turn left onto Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Continue until you reach the end of the street, then turn right onto Via dei Carraresi. Follow this road until you arrive at Piazzale Vittorio Emanuele, where the statue is located.
