From Milano Centrale train station, purchase a ticket to Pavia. Trains to Pavia run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. Once on board, the journey takes around 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Pavia train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Fratelli Rosselli).

Walking
From Pavia train station, turn left onto Via Fratelli Rosselli and walk straight. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Corso Garibaldi. Turn right onto Corso Garibaldi and follow it until you reach Piazza della Vittoria. Here, take a left onto Via Cavour, which will lead you directly to Piazza del Duomo where the Cathedral of Pavia is located.

After arriving at Pavia train station, you can also take a local bus. Look for the bus stop outside the station and take the bus that goes to 'Piazza del Duomo'. The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to the cathedral, which will be within walking distance of the entrance.
