Covering over 50 hectares, the park features vast meadows, wooded areas, and long, straight paths perfect for walking and cycling. Originally, the area was owned by the Scheibler family and served as a military airfield during World War I. It remained an agricultural area until 1971 when it was transformed into a public park. It features free-access sports facilities, a 4 km running track, and ample space for various activities. Within the park, you'll find the British War Cemetery, where 417 Commonwealth soldiers from World War II are buried.
