Public Transport
From the center of Milan, start at the Duomo di Milano. Take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) from Duomo station towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. Get off at the stop 'Sesto 1 Maggio FS' (8 stops). Transfer to Metro Line 5 (Purple Line) at the Sesto 1 Maggio FS station. Take the Line 5 train towards Garibaldi FS and get off at the stop 'Garibaldi FS' (4 stops). From Garibaldi FS, exit the station and walk to the Piazza della Repubblica. Catch Bus Line 57 towards 'P.le Bausan' and get off at 'Piazzale dello Sport'. The Leonardo's Horse is a short walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are starting from the Castello Sforzesco, head east towards Via Dante. Continue to follow Via Dante until you reach Piazza Cordusio. From there, take Metro Line 1 (Red Line) at Cordusio and head towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. From Sesto 1 Maggio FS, follow the previous public transport instructions to reach Leonardo's Horse. Alternatively, you can walk approximately 40 minutes from Castello Sforzesco directly to Piazzale dello Sport by following Via Monte Nero, then Via Piranesi towards Piazzale della Sport.
