Walking
If you are starting from Napoli Centrale (the main train station), exit the station and head towards Corso Garibaldi. Turn right onto Corso Garibaldi and continue walking straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the large square ahead; this is Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana. As you approach the square, you will see the Porta Capuana, a majestic historical gate, right in front of you.

From the Napoli Centrale station, take Line 2 of the Metro towards Pozzuoli. Get off at the next stop, Garibaldi. Exit the station and walk straight towards Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and continue straight until you reach Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana. Porta Capuana will be visible at the edge of the square.

From Napoli Centrale, you can catch bus number 130 from the bus terminal outside the train station. This bus heads towards the Centro Storico. Get off at the stop named 'Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana.' After disembarking, you will see Porta Capuana directly ahead in the square.
