Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Palermo Central Station, head southwest on Via Francesco Crispi towards Via Roma. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza Verdi, where the Teatro Massimo is located. From Piazza Verdi, take Via Maqueda heading south. After about 500 meters, you will reach the intersection with Via Vittorio Emanuele. Turn left onto Via Vittorio Emanuele and walk for about 300 meters until you see the entrance to the Vucciria market on your right. Discesa Caracciolo is located just beyond the market entrance.

    If you are coming from the famous Quattro Canti (Piazza Villena), walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele. Head down Via Vittorio Emanuele for approximately 400 meters. You will pass by several shops and cafes. After you reach the intersection with Via Maqueda, continue straight for another 300 meters. You will see the entrance to Vucciria on your left. Discesa Caracciolo is just beyond that entrance.
