  • Walking

    From the Pompeii Archaeological Park entrance, head towards the main street, Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the train station, Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri Station. Here, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Anacapri station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to Anacapri town center, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill. The area is well-marked and you will be greeted by beautiful views as you make your way.

  • Bus

    From the Pompeii Archaeological Park, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Via Roma. Take the bus number 1 or 2 that heads towards Anacapri. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Be sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at Anacapri. After getting off the bus, follow the main road signs directing you into the heart of Anacapri. The town center is just a short walk away.

    Start at the Pompeii Archaeological Park and make your way to Pompei Scavi - Villa dei Misteri Station. Take the Circumvesuviana train toward Sorrento and get off at the Sorrento station. From Sorrento, find the bus terminal adjacent to the train station. Board the bus to Anacapri, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Anacapri, follow the signs into the town center, which is a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
