Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Pompeii Archaeological Park Entrance, head straight along Viale Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue walking for about 500 meters until you reach the crossroads with Via Di Mercurio. Turn left onto Via Di Mercurio. After a short walk of approximately 200 meters, you will find Arco di Caligola on your right. The arch is well-marked and is a notable monument, so it should be easy to spot.

    From the Villa of the Mysteries, exit the site and turn right onto Via dell’Abbondanza. Continue straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Viale Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Mazzini and continue for 200 meters. Turn right onto Via Di Mercurio, and Arco di Caligola will be approximately 200 meters ahead on your right.
