Walking
From the main entrance of the Pompeii archaeological site, head east towards Viale Giuseppe Mazzini. Turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Mazzini and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Plinio. Turn right onto Via Plinio. Continue walking until you reach the 'Pompei Scavi' train station. From there, catch a train to Sorrento. Once you arrive at Sorrento, follow the signs to the ferry terminal. Take a ferry to Capri, and once you arrive, walk towards Via Tiberio. The Grotta Rossa is located along this road.
Public Transport
Start at the Pompeii archaeological site and make your way to the Pompei Scavi train station. Purchase a ticket for a train to Sorrento. After arriving in Sorrento, walk to the nearby ferry terminal and board a ferry to Capri. After disembarking in Capri, follow the main road toward Via Tiberio. The Grotta Rossa is located on this street.
