Walking
From the center of Pompeii, head east on Via Roma towards the Porta Marina. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of the Pompeii archaeological site. Once inside, follow the signs to the exit leading towards the train station (Stazione di Pompei). After exiting the site, walk to the train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. The train ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After arriving at Sorrento station, exit the station and walk south towards the coast. Marina Piccola is a short 15-minute walk from the train station; simply follow the coastal road (Via Marina Piccola) until you reach the marina.

From the center of Pompeii, walk to the Pompeii train station (Stazione di Pompei), which is around a 10-minute walk from the archaeological site. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for the Circumvesuviana train to Sorrento. The train departs frequently, and the journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at Sorrento station, exit the station and head south towards the coast. Marina Piccola is approximately a 15-minute walk from the station along Via Marina Piccola, which will take you directly to the marina.
